Numerology meets Artificial Life    

This is a project I started back in 1991. The original version was created on a Commodore Amiga and used a touch screen for interactivity. This version is not interactive however, but it illustrates the use of Dynamic HTML for complex manipulation of Web page elements.

Numbers on the screen move about randomly. When "male" digits intersect "female" digits, offspring is created, whose name (value) is derived from the cross-sum of their parents' names.
